About Camp Pa-Wa-Pi

YMCA Camp Pa-Wa-Pi is a great place for kids! Our summer day camp offers many fun and exciting opportunities for children to learn and grow. We promote the four core YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in all of our daily programs. Your child will learn new skills, make new friends, and experience a diverse atmosphere, all while having FUN! Camp is located just east of Williamston on 52 wooded acres along the Red Cedar River.

Campers are grouped according to age, and will learn teamwork and sportsmanship through several activities which include canoeing, archery, team building, arts and crafts, environmental studies, and group games to name a few. Each day during the week, the campers will need to bring a sack lunch. Mondays through Thursdays the children will make their way to the Williamston Community pool, where they will take a swim test and enjoy an hour of supervised free swim. We invite parents to come to camp on Fridays from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm to join in our Fantastic Friday celebration! The campers will sing songs, perform short skits, and lead a large group game for everyone.
